Matching mother and daughter outfit ideas: how to match with jackets, slippers and dresses, choose the right sizes and keep it fun instead of forced.
Matching mother and daughter outfits are lovely for the Christmas photo, a birthday or just a Saturday in town. But there is a fine line between cute and costume. Full match: the same type of garment in the same colour and print. Works best for one occasion, such as a photo shoot or Christmas Eve. Half match: one piece shares the print, the rest is different. Colour match: no identical prints, but the same colour palette. Black with white, or white with a bright accent colour. This is the easiest way to dress alike every day.
